Meet Cooper! A truly divine 9 month old, China Brown, horse coat boy who was picked up wandering the streets by the ranger. For some reason we just can’t fathom, Cooper’s parents didn’t come looking for him, so with just hours before D-day, Shar Pei Rescue put up their hand to save this young bloke. Coop is a sweet, loving and gentle man who we suspect has been mistreated as he tends to cower as if he is afraid he will be struck. Not to worry, every day he spends with one of our super duper foster families will have this boy whipped into shape with love, patience, training and ready for his forever family to love and admire him always.

Since recovering from entropion surgery, Cooper has been flooded with meetings, people and dogs alike. Daily visits to the park have also be on the agenda and a BIG nutritional boast has given this boy the kick start he needed to give him a bright and healthy future. Cooper can meet potential adoptive families over the next couple weeks (in fact, this is very much encouraged), but won’t be available for adoption until the second week in December. This chap deserves an extra special home with his very own family who will love him and consider him an very important family member. A diet of chicken mince, necks, quality vet kibble, & fish are all important to this boys luscious coat, skin and good health.

A bed in doors is a must, and regular exercise is also important. It would be just perfect if Cooper had his own female doggy companion to complete his dream.
